Regional Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Director - External Wholesaler to join our Cross Channel sales team within US Third Party Wealth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for marketing Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) products to financial advisors at Wire houses, Independent Broker Dealers, Regional Broker Dealers & RIAs.
About the RoleIn this external sales role, you will be responsible for calling on a focused list of firms in the territory. Your primary objective will be to position Goldman Sachs' value proposition, investment philosophy, process, product differentiation, and competitive analyses in group presentations, public seminars, and one-on-one presentations.
Key Responsibilities- External sales role calling on focused list of firms in the territory
- Responsible for marketing Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) products within the ICG channel, including Mutual Funds, ETFs, SMAs, and Private Alternatives
- Ability to position Goldman Sachs' value proposition and investment philosophy in group presentations, public seminars, and one-on-one presentations
- 5+ years of financial services sales experience preferred
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work with Internal Partners to help drive sales in ETFs, Alternatives, and Retirement Business
- Ability to maintain consistent travel schedule
- Series 7 and 63 required
- Existing relationships in the territory, with focused client base preferred
