Job Description

Position Overview:

The Site Construction Manager plays a crucial role in orchestrating, organizing, and optimizing site logistics. This position is responsible for scheduling all subcontractors to ensure the most effective sequencing of tasks. The manager oversees all field operations related to a project, including on-site administration, supervision, and technical management of construction activities, foremen, subcontractors, and other personnel involved in the construction process.

Key Responsibilities:

To ensure quality control, the Site Construction Manager will review contract documents meticulously and address any uncertainties. The role involves:

  • Establishing, maintaining, and enforcing a comprehensive project site logistics and facilities plan.
  • Implementing and upholding safety programs at the project site.
  • Managing and enforcing quality control measures throughout the project.
  • Coordinating all material deliveries and subcontractor engagements.
  • Providing insights to the Project Manager regarding field activities that may affect the contract schedule, compliance issues, and the Change Order process.
  • Creating look-ahead schedules to facilitate the successful startup and turnover of all systems to the client.
  • Documenting and implementing necessary SWPPP measures.
  • Assisting the Project Manager in preparing Project Status Reports (PSR).
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of all project-related documents, including plans, specifications, contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, daily correspondence, shop drawings, and submittals.
  • Keeping an accurate and complete set of working documents and As-Builts.
  • Providing technical support to all project team members.
  • Coordinating all field inspections and testing activities.

Essential Skills:

  • Completion of OSHA 30-Hour Safety Course.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Quality Control expertise.

Company Requirements:
