We are seeking a highly skilled Product Specialist to join our team at the City of New York. As a key member of our Benefits Access portfolio, you will play a critical role in driving new feature development, refinements, and maintenance for ACCESS NYC, as well as supporting the growth and adoption of the NYC Benefits Platform.
Key Responsibilities- Research and manage updates for the ACCESS NYC Benefits Screener, which determines potential eligibility for 40+ benefits based on factors such as income, expenses, and household composition.
- Analyze complex eligibility criteria for public benefits and identify opportunities for simplification.
- Lead the design and implementation of new eligibility screen rules, working with agency partners and developers to ensure seamless integration.
- Investigate and identify ways to improve the process for updating and managing benefits access products and services.
- Support the discovery, research, and development of new benefits access products and services.
- Design, execute, and interpret user and web experiments using Google Optimize for A/B and multivariate testing.
- Produce metrics and analytics reports for benefits access portfolio.
- Maintain product documentation.
To be successful in this role, you will need a master's degree in an appropriate field of specialization and at least two years of experience in a responsible research capacity. You should also have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
