Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan.

Job Description

This is a full-time position that requires minimal supervision. You will be responsible for performing patient assessments, instituting respiratory care plans, and conducting various technical and diagnostic respiratory therapy procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Meet expectations of OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders
  • Perform emergency response duties, including Code Blue and White response
  • Manage airways using nasotracheal and endotracheal suctioning techniques
  • Deliver aerosolized drugs and ventilator management
  • Conduct chest film analysis, blood gas collection, and EKG analysis
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation
  • Clean and stock equipment and supplies as needed
Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must have an RT or RCP License in the state of employment and a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification by the NBRC. A minimum of 1-3 years of experience is preferred.
