Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide clerical support to our food service team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the food service team, including answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining confidential personnel files.
  • Assist with staffing, including finding staff when employees call out on short notice.
  • Work effectively with co-workers, school personnel, administrators, and student's parents to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Enter weekly cash sales and meal counts using computer.
  • Perform daily bank deposit reconciliation.
  • Process vendor invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with bid specifications.
  • Prepare monthly state claim form for reimbursement.
  • Assist in preparation of end-of-month financial reports.
  • Attend in-service and/or safety meetings as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous administrative experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
