Software Engineer for Power and Propulsion Systems

Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and passionate engineer to join our team in the Electrical, Electronics, Software, Control System Design, and System Security (E24S) capability group.
As a Control Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing power and propulsion systems, working on a cross-functional agile team under the direction of a senior engineer.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing software requirements with internal and external customers
- Software design and implementation (traditional and model-based)
- Integrating and testing controls systems on hardware-in-the-loop simulators and real engines
Requirements include:
- Knowledge/experience using compiled and scripted languages
- Knowledge/experience with MATLAB and Simulink
- Demonstration of presentation skills both orally and visually
- Ability to travel to worksites to perform responsibilities (minimal)
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM subject
