Job Title: Network Administrator

North Georgia EMC is seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our team. As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for the reliability, security, and maintenance of our networking hardware.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate, plan, and implement IT infrastructure projects to ensure seamless network operations.
  • Maintain knowledge of technological changes and advancements in network equipment design and implementation.
  • Ensure cooperative computing resources are operational and available 24/7/365.
  • Support network, telecommunications, and mission-critical systems, including core & distribution switches, routers, packet & application firewalls, security servers, Wi-fi, VPN's, and other devices.
  • Provide on-call support and coordinate software license and digital certificate tracking.
  • Participate in maintenance and implementation of NGEMC cybersecurity systems and disaster recovery plans.
Requirements:
  • High School Graduate and a two-year Technical Degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of four years practical field experience with expertise in networking equipment configuration.
  • CCNA, Network +, Python scripting, Cisco Routing and Switching, and Palo Alto Experience are preferred.
