Job OverviewPosition Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Driver is to ensure the timely delivery of all orders while maintaining the delivery vehicles and providing exceptional customer service at various locations.

Under the guidance of the General Manager, the Driver will oversee the punctuality of the final product delivered to designated locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely deliver catering orders and concierge items in accordance with Air Culinaire Worldwide (ACW) Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Engage directly with ACW customers to gather feedback on products and services, relaying this information to the Catering Director, Catering Specialist, Sous Chef, and General Manager as necessary.
  • Act as an on-site problem solver, empowered to make decisions that enhance customer satisfaction, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Adhere to all local and state driving laws and safety guidelines, ensuring courteous and careful driving to prevent accidents.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of the vehicle fleet, including regular cleaning and trash removal, and ensure the Geotab signal and FOB are functional.
  • Occasionally pick up supplies as required and perform routine vehicle maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control and food safety standards during deliveries.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of vehicles, including oil changes and tire rotations, to ensure operational safety.
  • Assist in the preparation and stocking of items in company vehicles.
  • Meet weekly with the General Manager to ensure adherence to ACW standards and procedures.
  • Drive company vehicles in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with company uniform guidelines.
  • Cross-train to assist in food preparation during slower business periods.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager.
