We are currently looking for A1 level Sound Production Engineers to join our Audio Team. This role involves working with various audio formats, including live event mixing, recording, and voice-over production. The primary objective of the Sound Production Engineer is to capture, create, manage, enhance, route, and deliver sound according to specified requirements. We are seeking support for our team on a project-based, contract basis, collaborating with corporate partners on diverse productions that may require flexible working hours.

The Sound Production Engineer (A1) collaborates with our internal team and additional contract personnel to execute events. These events may include live productions, webcasts, satellite media tours, virtual gatherings, voice-over sessions, and support for remote locations. The duration of these events can vary from a few hours to several weeks.

Key Responsibilities of the Sound Production Engineer (A1):
  • Produce audio deliverables that meet client and regulatory specifications.
  • Engage with clients, artists, musicians, and producers to ensure a clear understanding of project needs and expectations; assist in project planning and attend pre-production meetings as necessary.
  • Set up audio consoles and sessions according to project requirements.
  • Occasionally record, manipulate, and edit digital audio.
  • Create and insert special sound effects as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain signal integrity to ensure high-quality audio during recordings and live events.
  • Operate broadcasting equipment, including audio consoles, intercom systems, wireless devices, and PA systems.
  • Occasionally operate field recording equipment.
  • Exhibit optimal microphone techniques in both live and studio settings.
  • Represent the audio team positively when interacting with clients.
  • Assist in maintaining audio equipment and facilities, contributing to production readiness.
  • Propose workflow improvements to enhance efficiency.

Compensation:

Pay Range: $80.00 (Hourly)

The starting pay for successful candidates will be determined based on various factors, including individual qualifications and work location.
