Senior Communication Specialist

Proactive MD is seeking a skilled Senior Communication Specialist to join our Marketing Team. The ideal candidate will be a versatile writer able to develop and edit content for various audiences, a seasoned collaborator capable of working effectively across departments to meet deadlines, and well-versed in social media, public relations, and industry-specific communication strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage communication strategies that align with company goals, creating and maintaining an annual editorial calendar for all internal and external marketing and communication efforts.
- Collaborate across multiple departments to gather insights and content from Subject Matter Experts, ensuring communication materials are accurate, timely, and meet the needs of various stakeholders.
- Create and edit content for diverse audiences, including external marketing campaigns, client relations, and internal communications, with a focus on delivering clear, effective messages that promote Proactive MD's brand.
- Maintain consistency in messaging by routinely updating the Proactive MD Brand/Voice Guide and ensuring brand voice is reflected across all communication channels.
- Leverage social media and PR best practices to elevate Proactive MD's position as a thought leader in the Advanced Primary Care space, implementing strategies on platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and other industry-relevant channels.
- Track and report on communication efforts by monitoring KPIs and creating quarterly performance reports for leadership, offering insights on the effectiveness of strategies and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Alignment with Proactive MD's Mission, Vision, Values, and Patient Promise.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communication, Journalism, or related field.
- Demonstrated skill and experience in writing, content creation, project management, social media management, copyediting, email campaigns, and creative writing.
- Exceptional writing and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines, prioritize workload, manage time, and perform duties autonomously as well as in collaboration with a team.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, CRM software, project management tools (i.e., Monday.com), Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and WordPress.
- 3+ years' experience in communications or marketing role with similar responsibilities.
