Job Summary

Your responsibilities will include filling medication orders, assisting with bulk manufacturing of special pharmaceutical products, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with preparation, formulation, and distribution of medication, ensuring efficient, quality, and safe pharmaceutical services.
  • Fills medication orders, including oral, injectable, and topical medications, and intravenous admixtures.
  • Assist in the bulk manufacturing of special pharmaceutical products.
  • Prepares and distributes medications to appropriate locations.
  • Inventories and restocks shelves in the immediate work area, checks for outdated drugs.
  • Performs necessary record-keeping functions.
  • Provides excellent customer service, responding to requests and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintains a safe and orderly work environment, adhering to USP Chapter [795] [797] standards when preparing, transporting, receiving, or handling non-sterile and sterile compounded products.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with a strong commitment to pursuing a Pharm.D. degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
  • LIC-Pharmacist Intern - STATE_MI State of Michigan, required upon hire.
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association, required upon hire.
  • CRT-CPR - AHA American Heart Association, required upon hire.
