Job Title: Capacity Engineer

Duration: 12-18 months

Location: Remote or Onsite (3 days a week)

Required Pay Scale: $75-78/hour

***Due to client requirements, this role is only open to W2 candidates***

Job Summary
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with peer teams and capacity executives
  • Provide data analytics and capacity forecast models to support business decisions
  • Understand hardware infrastructure, architecture, and disaster recovery concepts
  • IT Service Management (ITSM) knowledge and experience
  • Advisor for system and application performance improvements with other partners and stakeholders
  • Preferred understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Review technical project documentation to identify performance and capacity impacts to the infrastructure
  • Work with other support teams to provide forecasts and models for performance and capacity of impacted components
  • Responsible for reviewing saturation test results and artifacts to measure and interpret capacity thresholds/limits
  • Demonstrate knowledge of mathematical/statistical and quantitative analytics
  • Demonstrate knowledge of ITIL capacity management best practices & COBIT framework
