Intensive Care Unit Nurse

Halifax Health – Medical Center of Port Orange is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Resident to join our Intensive Care Unit team.
About the Role:As a RN Resident, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, collect, and document data to identify nursing diagnoses. You will establish, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care and discharge plans, ensuring responsible and accountable nursing care based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
- Current RN licensure in the State of Florida.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Certifications as required by the unit or area.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
