Assistant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Sam's Xpress Car Wash. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the operation and leadership of our car washes, assisting the Site Manager in achieving our goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster a Positive Work Environment: Create a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages open communication, feedback, and innovation.
  • Motivate Team Members: Motivate and coach team members to achieve their best performance, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the tools and resources needed to succeed.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of employees, both verbally and in writing.
  • Manage Operations: Assist the Site Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the car wash, including cash control procedures and ensuring a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
  • Promote Sales and Maximize Profitability: Promote sales and manage expenses to maximize profitability, while ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Establish and Demonstrate Exceptional Customer Service: Establish and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.

  • Leadership Ability: Possess strong leadership ability, with the ability to motivate and coach team members.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of employees.

  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods of time, work in a fast-paced environment, and lift up to 20 pounds.
