Assistant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager at Sam's Xpress Car Wash. This role will play a crucial part in the operation and leadership of our car washes, working closely with the Site Manager to ensure efficient and effective management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Foster a positive work environment, motivate team members to achieve their best performance, and provide continuous coaching and development.
  • Customer Service: Establish and demonstrate exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving any service-related issues.
  • Operations Management: Assist the Site Manager in managing the team, ensuring a professional appearance and attitude, and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Financial Management: Promote sales, manage expenses, and maximize profitability, working closely with the Site Manager to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate and lead a team with a positive and fun attitude.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff and customers.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to multitask and use time management skills effectively.
Work Environment:

This role will work at a job site location, exposed to the weather elements at all times. Hours of work include, but are not limited to, the hours of operation, with evenings and weekends required. Must be flexible and able to work weekends and 10-12 hour days.
