Assistant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager at Sam's Xpress Car Wash. This role will play a crucial part in the operation and leadership of our car washes, ensuring efficient and effective management to drive productivity and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Foster a positive work environment, motivate team members to achieve their best performance, and provide continuous coaching and development.
  • Customer Service: Establish and demonstrate exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and providing positive resolutions to challenges and/or concerns.
  • Operational Management: Assist the Site Manager in managing the team through opening, closing, and ongoing maintenance of the facility, including cash control procedures and point of sale management.
  • Financial Management: Promote sales, manage expenses, and maximize profitability.
  • Site Maintenance: Maintain a neat, clean, and organized overall site appearance at each location.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate with a positive and fun attitude, calm and think clearly in a fast-paced environment, and multitask effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff and customers.
  • Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand for long periods, use hand to finger motions, and reach with arms and hands. Frequently required to lift and/or move items up to 20 pounds without assistance.
