Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and Solve Mechanical Problems: Identify and resolve mechanical issues with equipment, including replacing parts such as bearings, pulleys, belts, chains, and sprockets.
- Repair Drive Components: Troubleshoot and repair drive components such as motors, gears, and reducers.
- Order and Manage Parts: Ensure that proper parts are ordered and managed to facilitate efficient repairs.
- Use Hand Tools: Utilize hand tools to perform maintenance tasks.
- Knowledge of Hoses and Fittings: Possess knowledge of all related hoses and fittings.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance: Conduct assigned preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running efficiently.
- Follow Safety and Environmental Requirements: Adhere to applicable safety and environmental requirements, including food safety and GMPs.
- Basic Welding Knowledge: Possess basic knowledge of welding.
- Adjust Equipment: Adjust equipment as needed to meet production demands.
- Lock-out/Tag-out Procedures: Understand lock-out/tag-out procedures.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned, including maintaining organizational skills and being responsible for maintenance.
- Previous Mechanical Experience: Previous mechanical experience is highly preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Basic Electricity, Pneumatics, and Mechanical Power Transmission: Possess previous experience in basic electricity, pneumatics, and mechanical power transmission.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Be proficient in troubleshooting.
- Measurement Tools and Instruments: Have education/experience in the use of measurement tools and instruments.
- Schematics and Pneumatics: Possess education/experience in interpreting schematics and pneumatics.
- Verbal and Written Communication: Be proficient in verbal and written communication with upper management.
