Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct monthly financial closing activities, ensuring precise analysis of discrepancies and reporting of outcomes to management.
  • Perform monthly evaluations of general ledger account discrepancies and reconcile variations.
  • Assist in the preparation for and participate in both internal and external audits.
  • Drive ongoing enhancements at the site regarding the utilization of Supply Connect and the Accounts Payable Process.
  • Engage actively in operational teams to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
  • Propose adjustments to the general ledger based on substantiated information.
  • Evaluate the current Financial Information Management Database and assist with the uploading and extraction of financial data.
  • Collaborate with all management levels to gather, analyze, and communicate recommendations concerning financial plans and operational forecasts.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports, outlining key business metrics and the underlying business drivers influencing variances.
  • Actively participate in initiatives aimed at improving execution and operational performance.
  • Assist in the development and presentation of monthly site reviews and the annual budget.
  • Support the monthly review and analysis of inventory and the development of forecasting and measurement processes.
  • Work alongside the Controller to ensure data completeness, coordination of reporting, and support for the annual Physical Inventory process.
  • Engage actively in PPI-Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience in the field.
  • Proficient in MS Excel.
  • Experience with SAP, BAAN, or other ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with individuals and teams.
  • Eagerness to learn new concepts and analyze extensive data sets.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a readiness to manage multiple tasks.
  • Builds relationships and credibility across all functions, including Operations, Human Resources, Logistics, and Sourcing.
