Division FP&A Job Summary

Landsea Homes is seeking a highly skilled and ambitious individual to fill the role of Division FP&A. This position plays a critical role in collaborating with operational teams to monitor financial metrics, evaluate strategies, and ensure alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes and timelines to ensure accurate financial projections.
  • Financial Reporting and Presentations: Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations highlighting key metrics and trends to present to senior and corporate leadership.
  • Variance Analysis and Insights: Perform variance analysis of actual vs projected results and provide actionable insights to optimize divisional performance.
  • Divisional KPIs and Financial Performance: Monitor divisional KPIs and financial performance indicators to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Collaboration with Homebuilding Operations: Collaborate with homebuilding operations teams to understand business drivers and market trends and improve financial outcomes.
  • Financial Strategy and Initiatives: Evaluate and recommend financial strategies and initiatives to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Process Improvement: Monitor and identify areas for process improvement to further achieve business plan goals.
  • Financial Projects and Initiatives: Lead various financial projects and initiatives as required by senior management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Accounting or Financial Analysis Experience: 2-4+ years of accounting or financial analysis experience, preferably within the residential home-building, construction, or real estate industry.
  • Excel Skills: Proficient in Excel with advanced skills in financial modeling and data analysis.
  • GAAP Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Organizational and Communication Skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables in a dynamic environment. Strong communication skills and comfortable communicating cross-functionally with internal and external business partners.
Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary position, but some field activities may include walking on un-graded sites or general site field reviews. May be required to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office materials and supplies weighing 25 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard. This position requires public contact, as such, appropriate business apparel and professional appearance is expected.

Travel Requirements:

Occasional travel may be required. A valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance is required at all times.
