Senior Quality Assurance Inspector

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance/Inspector Representative to join our team in the Burlington, NC area.
FST Technical Services is your global partner in the Semiconductor, Microelectronics, Pharmaceutical and other Life Science Industries. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional quality services that meet the highest industry standards.
This role is responsible for overseeing subcontractor's work performance to ensure compliance with defined quality specifications. The successful candidate will be required to report daily status and provide project progress assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products.
- Support subcontractors on training issues and source inspections of materials.
- Assist clients with their RFI process and provide commendations on field issues.
- Develops and analyzes statistical data to establish quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
- Formulate and maintain quality control objectives and may investigate customer complaints regarding quality.
- Perform weld inspections per AWS B5.1 and general knowledge of duct installations, including torque values, spark tests, and installation procedures.
- Liaise with customers and contractors, perform conference calls, and use Excel, Word, and customer portals to find specs and drawings associated with projects.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2+ years combined experience in cleanroom market sectors: Semiconductor, Microelectronic, Biotech / Pharmaceutical.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Salary:$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
