Job Summary

The Registered Nurse II-Float Team at MUSC is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a skilled and compassionate nurse to provide individualized care to patients and families. As a member of the Meduflex team, you will be responsible for providing coverage for callouts and extended leaves of absence, working at various locations downtown, including University Hospital, Ashley River Tower, the Institute of Psychiatry, and Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care at all four locations downtown
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve desired outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve skills
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse
  • Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as required
