Job Summary

Master Meter is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team in North Carolina and South Carolina. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving market share, revenue growth, and profitability within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to support overall company growth objectives, optimize distribution networks, and establish direct utility sales in market areas not currently covered by distribution.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain and strengthen relationships with distributor(s) and water utility companies, provide support to distributor sales personnel, and represent Master Meter at local and regional trade shows.
  • Sales Management: Manage future sales pipeline, provide accurate data for sales forecasting, and maintain records of sales activity within our CRM tool.
Requirements
  • Location: This position is home-based in the territory.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3+ years of sales experience, valid driver's license, and a clean driving record.
  • Travel: Ability to travel 50% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with meters and/or AMI & AMR systems.
  • Utility Experience: Prior experience working with municipal utilities.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary and Commissions: $90,000 annual salary + commissions.
  • Company Vehicle: Company vehicle provided.
  • Benefits: Company-paid premiums for medical insurance, life/AD&D insurance, and short and long-term disability insurances, flexible spending account, health savings account, voluntary group dental and supplemental life/AD&D insurances, 401(k) retirement plan with up to 7.5% company match, ten paid holidays, and two weeks of vacation in the first year.
