  • Understanding Client Needs: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the specific requirements and expectations of your account base.
  • Logistics Coordination: Organize freight pickups and deliveries with carriers on behalf of your clients, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Shipment Processing: Manage Less Than Truckload (LTL) shipments through our Transportation Management System (TMS), ensuring timely processing.
  • Monitoring Shipments: Keep a vigilant eye on our internal systems for new shipments that require processing.
  • Decision Making: Make informed decisions regarding carriers and shipments based on the individual needs of each customer.
  • Documentation: Prepare and provide all necessary shipping documents to clients and carriers.
  • Tracking and Reporting: Track and trace daily shipments, creating spreadsheets and reports as necessary.
  • Data Entry: Utilize carrier websites to obtain manifests and PRO numbers for accurate data entry and shipment tracking.
  • Customer Support: Address questions and issues from clients and carriers regarding shipments promptly and with urgency.
  • Team Collaboration: Cross-train team members on account details for effective handoff and backup support.
  • Claims and Procedures: Learn and understand procedures related to claims, re-consignments, and more.
  • Proactive Service: Uphold our commitment to exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A positive attitude and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • The ability to work effectively in a collaborative office environment.
  • Previous experience in the transportation industry is preferred.
  • Experience with parcel or international shipping is a plus.
