Overall Summary:
The Sales Account Manager plays a crucial role within the sales division, acting as a collaborative partner with sales executives to drive new revenue streams and enhance organic growth while improving profitability and reducing revenue loss.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Sales Executives to formulate pricing strategies and explore new revenue avenues.
- Evaluate potential opportunities within IWCO's core service areas.
- Recognized as a subject matter expert (SME) during client presentations at IWCO facilities, client sites, and industry conferences.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new clients and programs.
- Document project specifications and changes for operational teams, including Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Statements of Work (SOW).
- Contribute significantly to the growth of organic revenue.
- Conduct regular reviews of pricing agreements to uncover opportunities for margin enhancement, additional revenue, and operational efficiencies.
- Reduce revenue loss through an improved customer experience.
- Act as a consultant to internal teams to ensure excellent program management and customer satisfaction.
- Play a key role in developing responses when customer expectations are not met.
- Serve as a point of escalation for invoicing, quality, and other customer-related issues.
- Contribute to the creation, implementation, approval, and maintenance of process deliverables, including scheduling, forecasting, and invoicing.
- Manage client relationships by identifying unique needs and leading the delivery of innovative solutions for complex business challenges.
- Prepare, facilitate, and engage in periodic business reviews and presentations with clients.
- Act as a sales representation partner.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities/Competencies:
- Exceptional presentation and communication abilities.
- Ability to independently organize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with various aspects of direct marketing processes and services.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, printing, graphic arts, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in direct marketing sales or sales support is strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work for 8 consecutive hours.
- Willingness to travel for industry events and client engagements.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and using a computer.
