Key Responsibilities
  • HR Support: Provide comprehensive support on a range of human resources activities, including performance management, policy compliance, recruitment, compensation, employee relations, and other related HR functional areas.
  • Conflict Resolution: Mediate conflicts and disputes between employees, ensuring resolutions that align with our organization's values and objectives.
  • Policy Compliance: Make recommendations regarding adherence to applicable federal, state, and local laws, as well as our organization's policies and procedures.
  • Employee Relations: Address HR matters, including disciplinary actions, performance issues, and employee separations.
  • Recruitment and Selection: Assist with the recruitment and selection process, including creating and updating job descriptions and providing accurate and timely advice throughout the phases of recruitment and selection.
  • Policy Implementation: Participate in the implementation and integration of new policies, procedures, tools, and strategies.
  • Workplace Culture: Support our organization's efforts to maintain a healthy and supportive workplace culture, while ensuring accountability to our values and ethical standards.
Requirements
  • A mature personal Christian faith consistent with our organization's Statement of Faith.
  • 2+ years of experience as an HR professional.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a similar field (preferred).
  • Experience working in a faith-based or nonprofit environment (preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the proven ability to facilitate critical conversations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of HR legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • PHR or SPHR certification (preferred).
  • Proficient computer skills, including Google Workspace.
