Job Overview

At Minnesota Commercial Railway, we are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet.

Salary Range: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair company trucks and track machinery.
  • Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify all components.
  • Keep paperwork updated and submitted upon completion.
  • Communicate effectively with team members.

Work Environment: This is a full-time position requiring 24/7 availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Shifts/hours: 8-hour shift. The ideal candidate must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Requirements
  • A valid state-issued driver's license.
  • Able to read, write, and communicate (speak, hear, and understand) English.
  • Able to work at various heights above the ground, including making repairs atop locomotives.
  • Able to follow safety policies and procedures; wear required personal protective equipment.
