Position Overview

In this role, you will help nurture an atmosphere that encourages genuine employee and customer interactions, guided by our mission to spread joy. You will exemplify the Indigo values by being authentic, seeking inspiration, and understanding your audience, while influencing customers through the narratives you share, connecting them to our brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily operations of the store, including early morning or late evening shifts.
  • Conduct inventory checks, restock merchandise, manage returns, and organize incoming products.
  • Implement merchandising standards to create an inviting and engaging shopping environment.
  • Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere for customers.
  • Enhance customer experiences by adding joy to their visits.
  • Utilize our products to narrate compelling stories.
  • Engage with customers on the sales floor to build connections.
  • Curate personalized product selections for each customer interaction.
  • Exemplify Indigo’s High Performance Characteristics.
  • Stay informed about new products, promotions, and initiatives.
  • Contribute to a culture where health and safety are prioritized, ensuring everyone’s well-being.

Qualifications

  • Experience in specialty retail or a similar environment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn across various store functions.
  • Commitment to delivering an outstanding employee and customer experience.
  • Ability to remain mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift medium to large items, up to 40 pounds, using appropriate safety measures.
  • Availability for a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is required for positions in specific regions; additional languages are an asset.
