Job Title: Contact Center Specialist

At Wichita Federal Credit Union, we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Contact Center Specialist to join our team. As a Contact Center Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members by answering their calls, resolving their issues, and offering them personalized solutions to meet their financial needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer incoming calls and provide service to members in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, as needed.
  • Provide general credit union information and answer member inquiries.
  • Cross-sell credit union services and products to members, identifying their financial needs and offering solutions to meet those needs.
  • Handle mail payments and deposits, and assist other departments as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and secure work area, and perform other duties as required by supervisors.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • At least one year of customer service experience, preferably in a financial institution.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Physical and Mental Demands:

The Contact Center Specialist will be required to work in an office environment, with frequent use of a computer and phone. The position will also require the ability to lift objects and exert force in pushing and pulling. The mental demands of the job include reading documents, analyzing and solving problems, and interacting with members and coworkers.
