Job Summary

Yale School of Medicine is seeking a skilled Learning and Development Specialist to design and deliver workshops, collaborate with stakeholders, and develop innovative learning solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and facilitate workshops to enhance the learning experience
  • Conduct needs analysis with project stakeholders to identify training requirements
  • Analyze workshop feedback and identify trends using the Kirkpatrick model
  • Manage courses in Yale's learning management system
  • Lead logistical execution for in-person workshops
  • Develop content using ADDIE and SAM methodologies
  • Partner with other learning and development groups to ensure alignment and operational efficiencies
  • Create communication strategies and marketing solutions to engage learners
Essential Duties
  • Establish systems and procedures to manage Learning & Development programs
  • Design and establish training materials and facilitate training and workshops
  • Collect, analyze, and maintain Learning & Development evaluation data
  • Monitor and provide training and L&D reports to leadership
  • Manage and maintain the Learning & Development website
  • Build and maintain relationships with diverse business units and internal customers
  • Establish procedures and set standards for triaging inquiries and scheduling classes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, organizational communication, or related field
  • 2 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with data analysis and report administration
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of personality/behavioral-based assessments, coaching models, and learning analytics
  • Experience in the healthcare industry
Physical Requirements

This role may require the incumbent to move furniture and carry boxes to setup training rooms for workshops.
