We are seeking an experienced Technical Audio Systems Specialist to join our IT Services team at The Westminster Schools. Located in the heart of Atlanta, we offer a unique opportunity for the right candidate to work with cutting-edge technology and make a lasting impact on our community.

Job Summary

This full-time, 12-month position is responsible for leading the decision-making capacities related to classroom, office, conference, and auditorium audio/visual and multimedia technology. As a Technical Audio Systems Specialist, you will report directly to the Chief Information Officer and serve as a leader of the A/V support team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining audio/visual equipment in campus event spaces and external venues. You will also provide technical expertise, consultation, and support for users in the selection and use of A/V equipment and software. Additionally, you will deliver top-notch customer service and user satisfaction by assisting students, faculty, staff, and external constituents with A/V equipment usage.

Main Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain audio/visual equipment in campus event spaces and external venues.
  • Provide technical expertise, consultation, and support for users in the selection and use of A/V equipment and software.
  • Deliver top-notch customer service and user satisfaction by assisting students, faculty, staff, and external constituents with A/V equipment usage.
  • Collaborate with other members of the IT Services department to deliver strategic benefits to the school community.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of and experience in installation, operation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of analog and digital A/V equipment.
  • 2+ years minimum experience with Apple and Microsoft desktops/laptops.
  • Advanced knowledge or vendor certification in configuration and operation of Yamaha and Shure professional audio products.
  • Crestron experience required.
  • Zoom and other video conferencing technologies experience required.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation, with the ability to work as a flexible, collaborative, and supportive team member.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
