Job Summary

Murray's Cheese is seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to drive growth across our existing list of Wholesale customers and win new accounts. The ideal candidate has strong business development, account management, and product education experience and skills, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and build relationships with new and existing accounts to increase sales
Identify and secure new business account leads and nurture them to become active accounts
Develop and execute dynamic account-level sales strategies to achieve budget goals
Increase client engagement with Murray's brand through staff trainings and other educational opportunities
Provide in-person product tastings and menu consultation
Maintain a frequent presence with high-value, strategic accounts and key decision makers
Conduct weekly account visits and new account prospecting
Perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales analysis and reporting
Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Merchandising, and Production to ensure client needs are being supported to achieve sales goals

Requirements

Entrepreneurial spirit
Strong communication skills
Ability to self-manage
Strong attention to detail
Timely and organized
Knowledge and understanding of the restaurant industry is essential
Experience selling perishable items into the F&B industry is preferable
Love of food and cheese is a must
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
CRM experience is a PLUS
Must live in the NYC area and be out in the market at a minimum 50% of the time
