The Department of Surgery is actively seeking a Trauma Surgeon to enhance our faculty. Candidates should be board certified or eligible in Surgery and Surgical Critical Care, with a keen interest in both Acute Care Surgery and Elective General Surgery. We highly value candidates with experience in extramural translational or clinical research. Additionally, there will be opportunities to engage in elective general surgery practice. Our department is in the process of developing a robust robotics program for both elective and urgent surgical cases, supported by all key stakeholders.

Integrated Healthcare: Tufts Medical Center is a vital part of the Tufts Medicine Health System, which includes over 700 affiliated physicians.

Continuing Clinical Education: We emphasize a hands-on approach to learning, fostering the clinical skills and expertise of our faculty.

Collaboration: Our department is deeply integrated into the daily operations of the hospital, collaborating with nearly every specialty.

Key Responsibilities:

The Trauma Surgeon will play a crucial role within the clinical and academic team, working under the guidance of the department chair as an Assistant or Associate Professor.

Tufts Medicine offers a competitive salary that reflects academic training and professional experience. An appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine will be provided based on academic qualifications.
