Job Description

TruGreen Limited Partnership is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for achieving sales goals and executing sales plans to small to large businesses, including property managers, school systems, sport facilities, government facilities, restaurants, banks, and other companies in need of superior lawn care products and services.

Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Account Management: Achieve sales goals and execute sales plans to small to large businesses, including property managers, school systems, sport facilities, government facilities, restaurants, banks, and other companies in need of superior lawn care products and services.
  • Lead Generation: Generate new business to business (B2B) sales revenue by prospecting and adding new commercial customers.
  • Proposal and Contract Negotiation: Presents proposals for lawncare services and programs and obtains long-term contracts.
  • Project Management: Project management duties within the branch, including coordinating with local branch management and service team.

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from a four-year college or university or related work experience.
  • Preferred previous sales experience, proven sales track record, industry or internal company-related experience.
  • 0-1 years of B2B sales experience preferred.
  • Landscaping, lawncare, tree and shrub or pest experience a plus.
  • Valid Driver's License Required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of the organization's products and/or services.
  • Demonstrated consultative selling abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence internal and external decision-makers.
  • Ability to complete reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • General computer knowledge, efficiencies, and understanding to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM platform, Outlook/Office 365.
  • Ability to execute prospecting strategies for discovering and closing new accounts.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with internal associates and external customers.
