Responsibilities
  • Administer medications under the supervision of licensed registered or practical nurses, following established policies and procedures.
  • Treat clients with dignity and respect, providing excellent care and support.
  • Monitor clients for potential adverse reactions to medications and report concerns to supervising nurses.
  • Document all medications administered on the Medication Administration Record, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification in Tennessee for a minimum of one year required.
  • Successful completion of a Board of Nursing-approved Certified Medication Technician program required.
  • Valid Tennessee driver's license required.
  • CPR certification required.
