VP, Corporate Controller

Scopely is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Corporate Controller to lead our accounting functions and drive financial excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Manage accounting functions to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, deal support, and management support for financial decision-making.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout the accounting organization to establish scalable processes and efficiency.
- Partner closely with other members of the finance organization to deepen our understanding of the business, drive sound financial decision making, and help drive the business forward.
- Manage the annual financial audit process and serve as the main point of contact for our external auditor.
- Research and document Scopely's technical accounting matters for areas such as revenue, equity, investment, and US GAAP to IFRS differences.
- An undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or closely related business discipline.
- CPA, or equivalent.
- 15+ years of management experience in high-judgment roles, including extensive public accounting experience and managing multiple teams in Accounting and Finance Operations.
- A track record of progressively increasing management responsibilities including building and growing a team and developing leaders from within the organization.
Competitive salary range: $225,000 - $275,000, plus equity, bonus, and benefits including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time-off.
