Electrical Engineering Specialist

The Electronics Engineering division is dedicated to the design, integration, and evaluation of both commercial and defense electrical/electronic systems.
About the Role
The Electrical/Electronics Engineer, working under general guidance, is tasked with assisting in the development, integration, and assessment of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), military off-the-shelf (MOTS), and/or tailored electrical/electronic systems. This role plays a crucial part in fulfilling assigned work packages while adhering to time and budget constraints.

The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and skills:
- A tertiary qualification in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field recognized by Engineers Australia;
- Capability to operate with minimal supervision while also contributing effectively within a professional team setting;
- Proficiency in managing multiple tasks, while prioritizing effectively;
- Strong analytical abilities coupled with meticulous attention to detail;
- High levels of initiative, self-motivation, and a willingness to learn;
- Proven problem-solving skills, including the capacity to devise solutions for various technical challenges;
- Familiarity with design standards and the ability to implement them;
- Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally as needed;
- Eligibility for obtaining an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
