Patient Care Specialist

Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients undergoing dialysis treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with dialysis treatment, including setting up and operating hemodialysis machines
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the registered nurse or supervisor
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on dialysis treatment and related topics
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and support
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patient treatment and progress
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed
