Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional looking for a challenging role in a reputable company? Addison Group is seeking a Staff Accountant - Accounts Payable to join their team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform full-cycle accounting, including reconciliations and review of expense reports
  • Aid in the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Generate balance sheet reconciliations and create accompanying schedules for audit and annual close
  • Reconcile trial balance monthly and recommend revisions to journal entries in accordance with company standards
  • Prepare necessary documentation for positive pay and ACH fraudulent transactions
  • Process bi-monthly payroll and retirement plans, ensuring compliance with federal regulations
  • Manage federal compliance across payroll payment and multi-state withholding
  • Prepare payroll journal entries
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced environment
