Sales Coordinator Job Description

Highgate Hotels is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to join our team. As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the sales and catering team in the smooth operation of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the sales and catering team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and distributing mail.
  • Maintain accurate records and files, including Banquet Event Orders (BEOS) and meeting minutes.
  • Assist with daily operations of the Business Center and perform tasks such as copying, faxing, and mailing.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, clients, and employees, ensuring a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required by management.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a hotel or related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Proficiency in computer software and systems, including Microsoft Office and hotel management systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
