Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to join our team at Scudder Roofing Company. As a Sales Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales team by providing exceptional customer service, managing sales data, and ensuring seamless communication between departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide top-notch customer service to internal and external customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage sales data, including lead tracking, customer information, and sales performance metrics, to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to schedule appointments, meetings, and presentations, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Assist with sales department document management, including customer correspondence, contracts, and other relevant documents.
  • Support the sales team with Scoop CRM programs, lead/job entry, and tracking pertinent lead and sales data.
  • Responsible for consistently and systematically updating material pricing in roofing and solar estimating databases.
  • Support the sales team with financed projects, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings to stay informed and provide updates on sales performance and customer interactions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university or two or more years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid CA Driver's License
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Pro, Adobe Sign, DocuSign, Scoop CRM, Sage 100, Google Workspace products, and other programs and applications as necessary.
  • Strong work ethic and core values.
  • Excellent customer communication skills and interpersonal skills in order to work efficiently within a team while having the ability to complete tasks and make decisions independently.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • The ability to forecast and plan.
  • The ability to problem solve and use critical thinking to identify and resolve issues.
