As a Senior Commercial Relationship Manager at M&T Bank, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex and large dollar amount loan and/or deposit relationships with major businesses in the community. Your primary focus will be on soliciting new business, cross-selling, administering, and servicing existing business relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at major businesses, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Maximize profitability through the maintenance of a high-quality loan portfolio, ensuring conformity with terms and maintaining current and complete credit files.
- Participate in a formal call program to develop new loan, deposit, and fee-based business, staying up-to-date on market trends and developments.
- Represent the Bank in civic and community activities, fostering relationships and promoting the Bank's brand.
- Coach and mentor junior relationship managers, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or four years of relevant experience. Minimum of seven years of commercial portfolio management experience, with a strong background in financial analysis and knowledge of banking credit principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of personnel using diplomacy. Ability to sell effectively to prospects and clients, with excellent presentation skills. M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $127,124.05 Annual (USD).
