About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Credit Analysis Specialist to join our client's team in Doylestown, PA. As a key member of the commercial lending team, you will provide analytical support to ensure that loan documentation and credit presentations meet regulatory requirements and company standards. Your responsibilities will include analyzing financial statements, reviewing and completing independent credit analyses, and preparing written analyses for loan committees. You will also assist in preparing loan committee packets, attending meetings, and verifying compliance with laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze financial statements and tax returns to develop an initial assessment of a borrower's historical performance.
  • Review and complete independent credit analyses of agricultural, commercial, and construction loan requests.
  • Discuss alternative structures and overall assessments with lenders regarding their own work or the work of others in the department.
  • Prepare and review in-depth written analyses, including financial statement spreads, for relationships of all sizes and complexity.
  • Research industry-specific data from outside sources, including information from borrowers, industry publications, references from other financial institutions, credit agencies, and the internet.
  • Provide and review written analyses that include strengths and weaknesses of credit approval, denial, or alternative structure to lenders.
  • Assist in preparing and finalizing loan committee packets for distribution.
  • Attend various committee meetings, including loan committee, to answer questions pertaining to credit analyses.
  • Verify compliance with laws, regulations, and bank policies, including enforcement of bank loan policies and credit culture.
  • Participate in customer meetings as requested by lenders.
  • Assist in report enhancement and reporting to the Board of Directors and Regulatory Agencies.
  • Assist lenders in performing and completing property inspections and market evaluations.
  • Assist the Chief Credit Officer in the preparation of management reports, including the ALLL, Concentration CRE, OREO, and Problem Loan reports.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration preferred; accounting/finance experience beneficial.
  • Two or more years of credit analysis experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with financial statement spreading software (Moody's, Baker Hill, etc.) beneficial.
  • Must possess attention to detail, accuracy in work performed, and ability to multi-task while maintaining focus.
  • Strong analytical, math, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent PC skills required; must demonstrate ability to mentor/coach other team members while completing own work at a high level.

Salary Information:
This role offers a competitive salary range of up to $85,000 per year, along with an excellent benefits package.
