The IPL Team is seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician for their Springfield/ Urbana, Ohio facility.

The Machine Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing and maintaining injection molding machines to ensure proper working order.

This is a safety-sensitive position that requires the technician to ensure machines are working properly and meeting production demands.

The technician performs preventative maintenance tasks, visually inspects malfunctioning machines, and troubleshoots to determine the root cause of malfunctions.

The IPL facility is a primary manufacturing site for producing customized thin-wall injection molded containers, lids, overcaps, and custom packaging solutions for global food and consumer product companies.

IPL is a trusted innovation partner to major brands worldwide, working closely with customers to design and develop solutions that meet their needs.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 2+ years' experience in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and machine repair
  • Knowledge of electrical components
  • Knowledge of production processes
  • Ability to problem-solve during troubleshooting situations
  • Ability to learn quickly and accurately
  • Maintain supplies and complete maintenance logs
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently
  • Exhibit a sense of ownership in production team results
