Welder Specialist

At Tramec LLC, we are seeking a skilled MIG/TIG Welder to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for welding steel and aluminum components with precision and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel and aluminum to ensure strong, clean, and accurate welds.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
• Set up and operate welding machines and equipment, including pre-weld preparations like cleaning and cutting metal surfaces.
• Inspect welded components to ensure they meet company and industry standards, identifying defects and making necessary adjustments.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and the working environment, ensuring everything is in optimal working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications.
• Adhere to safety protocols and standards, wearing the required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Perform post-weld operations like grinding surfaces as needed.
• Assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving related to welding processes or quality control issues.
