Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Analyze Malfunctions: Conduct thorough inspections of trailers, containers, and chassis to identify potential issues and develop effective repair plans.
  • Complete Repairs and Rebuilds: Utilize your technical expertise to repair and rebuild chassis and trailer parts, ensuring all work meets safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain Equipment Efficiency: Ensure the electrical system is running efficiently and make any necessary adjustments to optimize performance.
  • Accurately Complete Work Orders: Document all work completed, including repairs, rebuilds, and maintenance activities, in a clear and concise manner.
  • Meet Deadlines and Quality Standards: Complete all work orders in a timely and consistent manner, adhering to company quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Pre-Employment Screening: Pass all pre-employment screening requirements, including background and drug tests.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Welding Experience: Possess welding experience and be proficient in using various welding techniques.
  • Regulatory Certifications: Hold a Federal Highway inspection Certificate and be DOT certified in FHWA Inspections & Air Brakes.
