Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Litigation Paralegal to join our team at Wilenchik & Bartness. As a key member of our litigation support team, you will provide critical support to our attorneys in their business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall support to attorneys in their business needs, including document management, research, and organization.
  • Assist in the preparation of discovery requests, responses, and productions, as well as privilege logs and subpoena preparation.
  • Manage and maintain pristine client files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Conduct research on factual issues for motions and disclosure, and assist in the preparation of related documents.
  • Experience with e-filing in state, federal, and appellate courts, as well as formatting and filing appellate briefs in state and federal courts.
  • Track witnesses and parties in cases, and conduct background investigations as needed.
  • Develop and maintain strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to respond timely and effectively in a team atmosphere.
  • Multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, with a high level of computer competency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, with a focus on reliability and excellent attendance.

Requirements:

  • A four-year degree and paralegal certificate preferred.
  • Must have trial experience and a willingness to travel.
  • Must be willing to learn presentation of evidence electronically through Trial Director, Sanctions, or other programs.
  • Experience with eDiscovery tools, such as LogikCull, Eclipse, Relativity, including collection, ingestion, redaction, production, and privilege logs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
  • High level of computer competency, with proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Sharepoint, and OneDrive.
