KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Regularly assess and optimize workflow, staffing needs, space utilization, equipment configurations, and strategic action plans, collaborating across departments such as engineering, human resources, safety, and IT.
  • Adjust manpower allocation to adapt to evolving operational demands.
  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of distribution center personnel, fostering a culture of collaboration and ongoing improvement.
  • Implement and uphold safety protocols and standards within the facility to safeguard employees and adhere to regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain a strong focus on inventory accuracy as a top priority.
  • Analyze existing shipping processes and assist in establishing new procedures for both new and existing products.
  • Identify areas of concern and execute corrective measures, along with long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks to ensure timely outcomes.
  • Undertake additional project work and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in distribution is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing teams across various shifts and functions is essential.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management software is necessary.
  • Exceptional communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills are vital.
