Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team on a PRN/per diem/as-needed basis at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and complete diagnostic CT examinations accurately and efficiently, ensuring high-quality images for interpretation.
  • Operate and maintain CT scanners, pressure injectors, and other related equipment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Assist in the administration of contrast media and other procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Prepare and position patients for exams, maintaining modesty and ensuring safe transfer and positioning.
  • Document all clinical information, obtain informed consent, and complete required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time.
  • Remain proficient in executing software protocols and stay up-to-date with changes in the field through in-service study, attending courses, or seminars as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other caregivers to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Check equipment operation, maintain cleanliness, and keep rooms stocked with linens and necessary supplies.
  • Accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed to provide optimum patient care.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalency plus college/technical training.
  • Valid ARRT (CT) certification.
  • Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year current/recent experience as a CT Technologist, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting.
