Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CT Technologist PRN to join our team at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT examinations accurately and efficiently, while providing exceptional patient care and service.

Responsibilities
  • Select and operate the CT scanner, pressure injector, and other equipment to perform diagnostic CT examinations.
  • Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Document all pertinent clinical information and obtain informed consent from patients.
  • Obtain high-quality CT images and submit them for interpretation.
  • Remain up-to-date with changes in the field and attend courses or seminars as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other caregivers to ensure seamless care.
  • Check equipment and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalency plus college/technical training.
  • Valid ARRT (CT) certification.
  • Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and/or lifting of patients/equipment up to 100 lbs.
  • Minimum of 1 year current/recent experience as a CT Technologist, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting.
