Position Overview:
We are in search of an experienced and proactive Senior Utilities Engineer. The successful candidate will oversee the utility systems within our facility, including boilers, gas, sewer, electric, and water systems. This permanent role offers an opportunity to significantly impact our operations while advancing your career in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise all utility systems within the facility, including gas, sewer, electric, and water.
  • Serve as the Chief Boiler Engineer, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all boiler systems.
  • Develop and implement a Preventative Maintenance System/Risk Management Program (PMS/RMP) to ensure regular inspections and maintenance of utility systems.
  • Maintain detailed regulatory records related to utility maintenance, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws.
  • Monitor utility usage by documenting and reading meters, identifying potential issues or inefficiencies.
  • Collaborate with engineering team members, providing necessary guidance and support.
  • Continuously seek improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of utility systems, implementing approved changes.
  • Ensure all tasks are performed safely and in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the engineering sector.
  • Must possess a Chief B Boiler Engineer License.
  • Proven expertise as a Chief Boiler Engineer, with a solid understanding of boiler operations and maintenance.
  • Experience in implementing and managing a Preventative Maintenance System/Risk Management Program (PMS/RMP).
  • Ability to document and read meters for gas, sewer, electric, and water systems.
  • Experience in maintaining regulatory records related to utility maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on quick and effective issue resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly.
  • A strong commitment to safety, with a history of responsible work practices.
  • A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
